A MAN who survived a car crash outside Kingsteignton which killed two young men on Monday has died in hospital overnight, police revealed today.
The 60-year-old motorist from Chudleigh died at Plymouth’s Derriford Hospital in the early hours.
He had been cut free from the wreckage of his Jaguar by Newton Abbot firefighters and flown to Derriford by air ambulance with ‘life-changing’ injuries.
Callum Heath, 17, and 27-year-old Lewis Taylor - both from Chudleigh - were pronounced dead at the scene on Clay Pits Way.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, but next of kin for all three involved have been informed.
Police are still appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who saw either Jaguar car before the collision.
