Police have made a major breakthrough in stifling a suspected organised drugs crime link between Newton Abbot and the Home Counties.

Five men and two women have been arrested in connection with 100 thefts from cars in the town over the last two months. The offences are now being linked to a bigger crime racket out of the area.
