A TEENAGE boy suffered a stab wound to the leg during a bust-up in Newton Abbot over the weekend.

Police are appealing for information about the incident in Victoria Gardens which resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old lad from the town on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

The injury to his victim, also local to the town, was not thought to be serious.

Police say the altercation happened just after 5.30pm yesterday (November 19).
