A YOUNG man was hurt when he came off his moped in Newton Abbot. The 20-year-old suffered an ankle injury in the tumble on Jetty Marsh Road where he was in collision with a car.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics, but did not need to go to hospital. The accident happened just before 5pm on Friday.
