POLICE have released CCTV footage of two people they would like to talk to as part of their inquries into a charity bottle theft from a GPs’ surgery in Kingsteignton.

It is thought the culprits - a man and a woman in their 20s - made off with an estimated £50. A couple fitting that description were seen to waltz through the reception area and grab the bottle from a table in full view of patients waiting to see a doctor.

The cash was being collected for the League of Friends charity KingsCare. CCTV cameras caught the pair entering and leaving the scene of the crime at about 5pm on Friday, 28 October. Police are urging anyone who can possibly identify the criminals by calling them or Crimestoppers and quote CR/76434/16. The couple in question were seen to drive away in a white Ford Transit connect van.
