A TEENAGE girl was the victim of a late-night attack in Newton Abbot at the weekend.

The 19-year-old casualty was treated for a neck injury by paramedics in Jetty Marsh Road just before 4am on Sunday.

She did not need to go to hospital for further treatment.

Details of the attack are scant, said a police spokesman.

He urged anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact officers on 101, quoting log 140 of November 13.
