RUSH-HOUR traffic was snarled up for nearly two hours after a two-car collision on the A38 near Drumbridges on Monday afternoon.
Police, paramedics and firefighters attended the incident which happened just after 5pm on the Exeter-bound carriageway.
No one was injured in the incident which involved a white Transit van and a black Mercedes.
Fire crews and an ambulance crew checked over the ‘walking wounded.’
One man was treated at the scene for a chest injury, but he did not need to go to hospital.
A police spokesman said the carriageway was reported to be clear by 6.50pm.
