FIRE crews from Dawlish tackled a burning car last night.

The team of firefighters were alerted to the vehicle which was alight at Little Haldon.

On arrival, the crew found the engine bay of the car was well alight.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were used along with compressed air foam to quickly extinguish the fire and stop it from spreading to the rest of the vehicle.

The Dawlish crew had two other calls outs during the night which made for a busy few hours.
