A MOTORIST was injured in a road smash just outside Tedburn St Mary on Monday morning.
The casualty was recovered from the wreckage of his vehicle by firefighters using hydraulic cutting gear and small tools.
He was taken to hospital by land ambulance after the collision at 10.30am.
