AT least seven vehicles were damaged as a wave of vandalism hit Bishopsteignton over the weekend.

A rear window was smashed and several wing mirrors were left broken in the areas of Forder Lane, Church Road and Radway Street.

The suspected attacks on Saturday night and Sunday morning caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

Members of a village Facebook group also reported damage to fence panels, bins and signs across the area.

Police are now appealing for information.
