FIREFIGHTERS in Teignmouth did not have far to go when a car crashed outside their station over the weekend.

Two crews responded after a car collided with a railing in Higher Brook Street just after 1.30pm on Saturday.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt. Firefighters made the vehicle safe.
