FIREFIGHTERS from Bovey Tracey Fire have once again been tasked to attend a large fire in Somerset.

The station’s ever-busy Incident Support Unit was one of 14 appliances and additional specialist vehicles that attended a blaze in a derelict building in the centre of Crewkerne just after midday on Monday (February 22).

According to Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service the incident was scaled down after five hours with relief crews from other parts of Devon including Colyton and Honiton attending to take over from those already in attendance.
