A WOMAN from Kingskerswell has been banned for 25 months for drink-driving.
Sue Ball, aged 42, from Carswells, pleaded guilty to driving while over the limit at Newton Abbot Railway Station. She gave a reading of 105 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs.
She also pleaded guilty to possessing a quantity of cocaine at Newton Abbot Railway Station.
Ball was banned from driving for 25 months, which can be reduced by 25 weeks if she completes a course. South and West Devon Magistrates' Court made a community under which she must take treatment for alcohol dependency for six months.
She was fined £80 and must pay £114 to fund victim services.
No separate penalty was imposed for the drug offence but the court ordered the cocaine to be seized and destroyed.
