WESTERN Power Distribution confirmed there has been a high voltage fault affecting 1,668 households and several businesses at 9.54am,today. Power was restored to 1,073 households within 10 minutes. At the moment 48 properties are being affected as work continues to restore power. A spokesman for Western Power Distributions said that power has been restored to the area but Devon County Council Highways would have to restore the traffic lights at Newfoundland Way, Newton Abbot.
