A DRAMATIC 12-hour siege on a Teignmouth housing estate involving armed police ended early hours yesterday when a man was arrested.

Police with automatic weapons rushed to Fourth Avenue on Wednesday afternoon after a man reportedly made threats to a neighbour.

It is believed he had an assortment of weapons, including a Samurai sword, a hammer, and possibly a machete.
