THERE were 100 people who tested positive for Covid in Teignbtidge, but two have died.

The latest government figures show that between May 13 and 19, 100 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -30.1% compared to the previous seven days.

Sadly, between the same dates, there have been two deaths in the district within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

The Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports there were 10 patients in hospital with coronavirus on May 17, but there were no patients in hospital beds with a mechanical ventilator.
