Woman, 91, burgled as she sat in her garden

A NINETY-one-year-old Teignmouth woman was burgled while she sat in her front garden enjoying the sunshine.
The thief entered Sheela Drew’s home in Inverteign Drive through a back door, and stole more than £8,000 worth of jewellery, much of it of great sentimental value.
Among the haul were silverware and three engagement rings – her own, her mother-in-law’s and her great grandmother’s.
‘It is really upsetting because they are irreplaceable and go back in the family a long way.
