Cut-price deal on parking on cards

A cut price parking deal could be on the cards for Teignmouth residents.

It is one of more than a dozen radical proposals to make parking in the town centre simpler to understand, and cheaper.

If approved, residents would be able to park for up to three hours a day all the year round for between £20 and £30 a year.

The money would be paid as part of the council tax and enforced and monitored by new technology.
