Seeking ways to spend £167,000 windfall

TEIGNMOUTH councillors and traders have a welcome problem – how to spend a £167,000 windfall.
The money has come from Morrisons, as part of the planning deal – known as a Section 106 agreement – for its new supermarket at Broadmeadow.
The amount consists of
l £112,500 towards the cost of projects aimed at sustaining the vitality and viability of Teignmouth town centre, and including works to meet objectives contained in the Teignmouth Vision document;
l A further £35,000 for the improvement of a ped
