Now Royal petition backs seafront events
Friday, 18 May 2012
THE majority of residents at a block of seafront flats insist they have no objections to the jubilee and Olympic knees up on the Den.
They hit back after we reported last week that some people at Royal Court had lodged objections to the granting of an all the year around entertainment and drinks licence, fearing increased noise and disturbance.
The application is due to be heard by Teignbridge council today and, if refused, would mean the cancellation of all the events planned for several months.
Now 45 residents have signed a counter-petition sent to the licensing sub-committee
