Thief steals £5k of designer glass frames

A THIEF has made off with thousands of pounds worth of spectacle frames from two Newton Abbot opticians.

Designer frames were removed in a carefully planned move from displays at Vision Express and Boots in Courtenay Street.

Sixteen pairs, including frames by Gucci, Christian Dior and Versace, were swiped from Vision Express.
