Power on the go

Earlier this year when Ring Automotive kindly offered Friends and Alloys six of their fab in-car power inverters you, dear readers, responded in droves.

Delighted then to say that in this, our last festive give-away of the year, we’ve another six up for grabs.

These great little devices, which I’m never without, provide 240 volt mains power when on the go.

Simply plug the cable into the car’s 12 volt DC power outlet or cigarette lighter and on the other end there’s a conventional three-pin socket with enough AC juice to run equipment such as phone chargers, games consoles, laptops, printers, televisions and MP3 players.

The units Ring have given us this time are three of their MP:120 Compact inverters which can supply, as the name suggests, up to 120 watts.

We also have a trio of their E:Can+ which provide a beefier 150 watts.

Each retails at £30 - £40 and revolutionise life on the go, whether for business or while touring.

To be in with a chance of winning one simply complete the form below. The first three names out of the hat will receive an E:Can+, the next three an MP:120.

Good luck once again and hopefully there will be half a dozen unexpected presents under the district’s Christmas trees this time next week.
