Kit car show is just the ticket for you

As promised a week or two ago, Friends and alloys has a fistful of tickets to give away for this month’s Great Western Kit and Car Builder Show.

The annual gathering at Westpoint, Exeter, on October 23-24, is a must for motoring fans interested in something a bit different from the norm.

The machines on offer range from replica classics to the downright weird and whacky.

There is always plenty of informal trading going on in the car park too and those arriving in their kit cars gain free entry.

This year the show will boast an exclusive with seven leading Cobra manufacturers taking part, the biggest collection to be seen under one roof.

Devon manufacturers continue to feature in the shape of Murtaya Sports Cars from Woodbury Salterton, Quantum Sports Cars from Kingsbridge and Tifosi Sports Cars from Chulmleigh.

Also from the south west will be Nostalgia Cars and Aspire Kit Cars from Somerset and Cornwall’s Toniq Ltd and Blackjack Cars.

In all there will be 45 manufacturers, 50 trade stands and more kit car accessories than you can shake a gearstick at.

There will also be an exhilarating performance from Neil Porter and his superbike stunt show and the chance to experience slalom rides in a Westfield.

The show will be open 10am - 5pm both days. Admission is £11 for adults and £2 for children 12 years and under.

We have six pairs of tickets to give away which can be used by either.

Good luck and hope to see you there.
